Travel and Transportation

The event venue is located on the Georgia Tech Campus, Atlanta, which is easily accessible from Hartsfield-Jackson airport via rideshare, taxi, or the MARTA rail system. We will be meeting in the Klaus Advanced Computing Building (KACB). Please see below for pictures of the entrance to the Klaus Atrium (doors labeled Research Wing).

To take MARTA and the Georgia Tech Stinger Gold Bus to the Klaus Advanced Computing Building

  1. Take the RED or GOLD train to the 10th street MARTA station. Either line will stop at the North Avenue or 10th street stations. Tickets are $2.50 each way.
  2. At the south exit of the train station, the Stringer (a Tech-run bus) will stop and pick up riders every 10-15 minutes. You can check where buses are using the Georgia Tech bus tracking website at bus.gatech.edu. It is also about a 20 minute walk from the station to Klaus.
  3. If you are taking the bus, ride it until the Klaus stop. It will be on your right. See the below image for more details (Read stops from Midtown up to Klaus)

To take an Uber/Lyft to Klaus

It takes about 40-50 minutes to get from the airport to Klaus via the train and the Stinger Gold Bus. However, if you are in a hurry, you can take a Lyft/Uber which takes about 25-30 minutes once you are picked up. 


Key note: The rideshare pickups keep moving at the Atlanta airport so please check signs. As of January 2026, they are currently on the ground floor (down one floor from baggage claim) and in the North economy parking lot. Read signs and see https://www.atl.com/rideshare/ for more information.

Hotel Information

The CRNCH Summit does not have a reserved hotel block for attendees. Most of the hotels in Midtown Atlanta (North Avenue – 14th Street) are reasonable as far as price, ratings, and distance to campus. You may want to either select the GT Hotel or a hotel near the 10th Street MARTA station so that you can walk/Stinger bus to the Summit location.
